The pool will open up for entry at 4:30, and warmups will begin at about 4:50 pm. Please do not plan to arrive before 4:30 unless you are planning to help with setup! Our setup crew needs to be able to get around the pool without climbing over people who are setting up their chairs for the evening. Take a look at the "Meet Information" tab on our website for information, especially if this is your first meet as a Bolt. Remember that we will park at the church next door to the pool. Please do not drive into the neighborhood to drop off your kids! This creates significant chaos for our parking crew, as they try to assess who is and who is not supposed to be there. When your swimmers arrive, please have them check in with Coach Bren so that the coaches know they have arrived. If you are scheduled to volunteer, please check in with Venita when you arrive. If we need additional volunteers, we will send out a Remind message.There is a remote chance that we will have to deal with some lightning on Thursday night. If we have to delay the meet due to weather, please return to your cars to wait. Please DO NOT LEAVE until you are notified that the meeting is being rescheduled. As usual, we will use Remind (text @73kgh to 81010) for updates.

For our new families:

The first meet can be quite a spectacle. There will be lots happening, and it can look pretty chaotic. It is also a ton of fun, and you will be surprised at how quickly you get into the routine of a swim meet. If you have questions, just ask someone anyone around who has been a part of the team in past seasons. We all remember what it was like during the first season, and we are happy to help out!

Here are a few things that you will want to bring with you:

Sunscreen

A deck chair for everybody attending with you

An umbrella for sun and for rain

Water

Food or money for concessions

$2 cash for a heat sheet

Purple or black sharpies

Towels, goggles, and swim caps for all swimmers

Games, tablets, phones, etc for between events

Loud voices and great attitudes!
