As usual, when you arrive at the pool swimmers should check in with Coach Katie or Coach Jenny. Volunteers should check in with Venita. The MorningView facility is pretty large, and it is pretty common that the coaches have to go looking for swimmers to line up for the bullpen. Please be sure that your kids are in a place where they can be sent to line up, for individual events and for relays.

Parking: As always, parking is an issue and we encourage carpooling. Cars cannot park on the grass in the parking lot area or across the street from the clubhouse (these are private properties and not part of MorningView – the homeowners have been know to tow. Parents can drop their swimmers off at the clubhouse where they can enter through the gates and proceed to the visitor’s bullpen area which will be to the left and rear of the clubhouse by the splash area. As usual, please ask your swimmers not to play on the splash equipment or in the kiddie pool. Overflow parking is available in the following area: turn right out of the clubhouse parking lot onto Westbrook Road, turn right at Ridge Road, and take the first right at Morning Mist Walk (Havenwood neighborhood). Parking is allowed on one side of the street as marked. The police do patrol during swim meets and may ticket or tow cars that are not parked within our lot or in the overflow parking area in Havenwood.

Arrival: Your warm up is at 5:20 - 5:40. We will run a bubble heat just prior to the main meet.

Heat sheets will be provided digitally, we will have a limited amount of paper copies that will be sold under the canopy by the main entry gate before you enter the gates to the pool. Cost is $2.00. Please bring smaller bills.

Visitor seating for spectators will be left of the main aisle as you enter the pool (near concessions) and left of the lifeguard stand on the main level.

Concessions: we offer Chick Fil A sandwiches, Cooley's pizza, hot dogs, drinks, and of course, plenty of candy. There will also be a Kona Ice truck at the meet. For heat winners we give out "Manta Money" which is good for 50 cents at the concession/candy stand

Scoring: This will take place in the Children's Wing of the clubhouse located behind the home team seating area at the top of the pool deck to the right when you enter the pool. This is also where times will be posted. The scoring room is available to council persons, coaches, officials, and scoring volunteers only please. We plan on utilizing Meet Mobile.

Mini- Meet: Our team has a Mini-Manta group of 4-6 year olds who practice separately in our small pool. At home meets, we have a Mini Meet at 5:50pm after both teams are finished warming up; we have a maximum of 2 Mini Manta heats.

If you have participating swimmers, please meet Coach Alayna at 5:45 to line up your swimmers at the blocks.

Inclement weather: In the event the meet is delayed for weather, please let your parents know not to congregate under the pavilion at the entrance. They should to head to their cars and we'll let them know when to come back to finish up the meet. If we have to reschedule, our make up day is Friday.
